Evans, associate director of Student Life at the North Carolina Community College System, is a self-described “air traffic controller” for students, Evans’ goal is to help them realize their maximum potential. But that also means dealing with difficult hurdles, like achievement gaps for some students.

Robert was director of multimedia for EducationNC. He is a journalist and award-winning documentary filmmaker in the Triangle. Robert attended both public and private grade schools in North Carolina and graduated from the Media and Journalism school at UNC-Chapel Hill.
