Michael Taffe is a reporter for EducationNC. Michael was born and raised in Raleigh, N.C. where he attended Cardinal Gibbons High School. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in statistics and economics, and a minor in public policy. While in Chapel Hill, he was the data editor at The Daily Tar Heel, the UNC student-run newspaper. His reporting focuses on the community college system.
